A plan and a record, not a calculator

The file does no study maths and holds no acceptance limits. You write your own rule (your customer's or your plant's) and the result you recorded.
Run the study itself in your own study sheet or in our Gage R&R calculator, then put the file name in Report ref.
The gauge calibration log tracks calibration due dates per gauge. This file tracks the separate studies of the measurement system.

Settings: an as-of date (blank means today).
Log: study ref, gauge ID, characteristic measured, study type (Repeatability and reproducibility, Attribute agreement, Bias, Linearity, Stability, Other), owner, planned date, study date, your acceptance rule, result recorded, outcome (Meets your rule, Does not meet your rule), action or 8D ref, report ref, next study due, notes.
A separate check column. The status never hides it, and a row can show several notes, joined with a semicolon.
Counts under the log: rows logged, rows per status, rows with a check note, rows past due (any status), a line that should read 0 (rows not in any status), rows per study type and rows per outcome. No score and no ranking.

In this order; the first match wins. A row only reads Done when every step before it is filled:
